#25 of 365 - A Fire in the Fireplace and a Nap on the Couch

I built a fire this morning because it was cold in the house. I love fires to watch but they certainly require some maintenance. This I know, because I almost immediately took a nap on the couch and when I woke up, the fire had gone out from lack of feeding of fresh wood. Erin had chosen not to maintain it whilst I was sleeping, sigh... Since I rarely take naps except when not feeling well, the title might tell you something about my day...

I hope you feel better soon.
A fire sounds lovely. The closest i can get here is a candle, or sitting int eh kitchen in front of the electric oven LOL.
Although i am spoiled rotten by my recliner.. it has heat with the push of a button. When I am sick, it feels s gooood.

In my defense about the fire. It only went out right before you woke up, and the room was plenty warm. So I personally did not feel the need to rekindle it at that time.

The fireplace is so beautiful! The second thing I noticed when we came in (the first was that you had YARN and BOOKs-- a REAL home!!!)
Don't forget the requisite cup of cocoa, mystery by Maggie Sefton, and fuzzy quilt, and of course Pan on your feet. You'll be feeling better in no time! :-)
LOL: VW is flukepie!
