I missed blogging yesterday due to being sore and tired from the parade waiting and walking and from standing at the GBS show to be able to see something, anything of the show on Saturday. I had one of the Twin Towers in front of me who insisted on talking to the person next to her EVERY five minutes so I could never find a place to peek thru, so I stood up for most of the show.
However, that said, it was a fabulous show! The music was great, old favourites, show tunes and some new ones from Allan and Sean.

and Allan and Bob in this one. Even tho most of my friends went Friday night, there was still a number of my friends there Saturday along with Erin there were Helen, Lisa, Linda, Pat, Dave and Marty and Tom. Definitely, a must see band, in my opinion, you can't not enjoy them and yourself.

Have seen them on Canadian TV a lot---they are great on the tube, can't imagine the energy in person!

Oscar bought me a Bodhran our first Yule together, when i fell in love with it at a GBS concert. It's a lovely big one, handmade by an old friend. It is very hard to play sitting down with my large abdomen, I should really find someone to appreciate it, but it has great meaning.
