#50 of 365 - Then and Now

I got this far yesterday. Along the way, I discovered that my stitch count was way off. So I FROGGED IT (rip it, rip it)! Sigh! I also thought I should, maybe, be using a bigger needle size as well. This is the pattern from Knitty. It is called Citron.

I am doing it as an orange slice as oppose to a lime slice which is the colour of the original shawlette. I am, therefore, calling this one, Orange Zest. Again, my thanks to Rebecca for de-stashing the oranges I will be using to make this little shawlette.

Now, I am at this point on the bigger needles and I like the way that is working out. I have just gotten to the section that was giving me fits yesterday, we shall see what we shall see. More shall be revealed, as I am so fond of saying...

I think you made the right choice to go with the bigger needles! And I love the Orange!
Brilliant!
I can't wait to see it finished....
I still am having problems with the left hand... had x-rays yesterday, but they couldn't see anything. So I am being referred to the hand specialist... I broke down and started another pair of socks... using the fisherman's wool and making a pair of hiking boot socks for DS with the Dragonfly pattern... one and a half done... hand hurts like all hell....

I normally am not an orage person but that shade is lovely. Hope this time there are no froggies about! ;)
Still working on the stranded socks; evethough I have done everything PER INSTRUCTIONS, they look like they'll be more of a knitted boot, so not sure that the froggies aren't coming to visit me.
ICK.

XXOO!!

ONG those oranges are PERFECT for that pattern (which I love very much) Good thinking on that.

I am making a Big White shawl in the style of your big blue lol. O got a bag of super bulky and worsted weight WOOL at goodwill for $6 with the added bonus of a nice sz 3-4 24" circular needle in the mix

The froggies have been busy this week! I had to tink 11 rows yesterday, thought I had messed up the critter. Today I am back to the point I was at yesterday, and while I don't think I'll be ribbiting, I can't get any farther until Diana calls me and talks me through my confusion on the directions.... is this Athena's way of telling me to do my homework instead?????
